Mental illness could stole the beauty from (1).png

The pandemic has, indeed, taken its toll. According to preliminary findings from an international survey of children and adults in 21 countries conducted by UNICEF and Gallup – and previewed in The State of the World's Children 2021 – a median of one in every five young people aged 15–24 surveyed said they frequently feel depressed or have little interest in doing things. As COVID-19 enters its third year, the influence on children and young people's mental health and well-being remains significant. According to the most recent UNICEF data, at least one in every seven children has been directly affected by lockdowns, and more than 1.6 billion children have experienced some loss of schooling. Many young people are terrified, furious, and concerned about their future as a result of disruptions to routines, schooling, and recreation, as well as concerns about family income and health. As an example, according to a survey conducted in China in early 2020 and published in The State of the World's Children, roughly one-third of respondents reported feeling terrified or apprehensive. As a result of this, we, the Youth Leaders, decided to raise advocacy that discusses the Mental Health of Students and solutions to address specific concerns. In line with this, we wish to create a healthy environment in which students feel comfortable discussing challenges they have encountered. We respect their privacy, which is why we gave emails, phone numbers, or contacts in general where they may communicate their difficulties privately, anonymously or not. We, the Youth Leaders, act as a conduit or a voice for them. We will speak with them, develop solutions based on their worries, and ask them which of the solutions we gave are they like that is appropriate for them. We will disseminate it through our platforms so that other students are aware of some solutions to a specific challenge. Furthermore, adults or some institutions will be aware of the challenges that the students face and how to assist them.
